Today’s Takeout: To-Go Brunch from Russell’s on Macklind and Lola Jean’s

Staying at home doesn’t have to mean giving up one of life’s finer pleasures: brunch. In that spirit, Southampton staple Russell’s on Macklind is teaming up with its sister restaurant Lola Jean’s to offer a to-go brunch menu available Thursday through Sunday from 9am to 2pm.

The menu highlights some favorite dishes from both restaurants’ menus, including cinnamon rolls; a breakfast flatbread with bacon, eggs and white Cheddar Béchamel; and flaky biscuits served with salted butter, honey and blackberry preserves.

Thankfully, Lola Jean’s cult favorite, the breakfast burrito, made its way onto the menu; it’s packed with soft scrambled eggs, pickled green chiles, braised pork carnitas, chipotle-lime aïoli, white Cheddar and cilantro. 

In true brunch fashion, don’t forget to add a Bloody Mary, which comes sealed in a Mason jar, or a mimosa kit for two featuring orange juice and a bottle of Brut Cava. Want a treat for later? Order a pound of cookie dough for $8 to bake at home whenever the mood strikes.
