St. Louis’ Steve’s Hot Dogs is moving to the former Mangia Italiana space this summer

Just over a year after its revival, Steve’s Hot Dogs is getting ready to grow.

According to a Facebook post, the beloved Tower Grove East hot dog spot will move a few blocks down the road late this summer to part of the space that used to be home to Mangia Italiana.

“We’ve been ready to grow for some time – but we were patiently waiting for the right spot that would allow us to stay close and connected to our incredible Tower Grove East neighbors,” the post reads.

The new location promises twice the indoor dining space, a full bar, room for a stage and an expanded patio that overlooks Ritz Park. The post also reassured that the restaurant’s Wayne St. Wayne mural will return in all of its glory.

There is no set date for the relocation, however the Facebook post said that months of work were ahead of the team to align the new location with Steve’s signature vibe.
